How To: Make An Easy Makeup Brush Cleaner

Sorry I haven't posted for so long! I couldn't login for some reason.......anyway, here is a super simple way to make your own makeup brush cleanser. Here's how.

You'll Need:
- 1 cup distilled (bottled) water
- 1/4 cup of alcohol OR 1/2 squirt of Germ-X (only if u need it)
- 1/2 TBS dish soap
- 1/2 TBS shampoo
- 1 TBS leave-in conditioner SPRAY

Mix all ingredients together well. Using a funnel, pour into a squirt bottle. To use, hold brush upside down over an old towel and spray generously. Wipe it along the towel, rinse with lukewarm water, and lay out flat to dry (on towel or in a basket). Repeat if necessary.

How To: Make a Strawberry cleanser/scrub (with 3 things you DO have in your kitchen!)

This is a very good homemade body scrub I got from Seventeen Prom 2009.

You Will Need:
8 to 10 ripe strawberries
2 tbs olive oil
1 tsp kosher salt (i just use regular Morton or sea salt)

Mash up the strawberries in a bowl, using a small whisk. Add the olive oil. Mix weel. Pour in your salt, mix, and you're done! I put mine in a plastic cup after i mash up the strawberries-it seems to come out thicker. And you DO NOT NEED A HUGE BOWL! I used a really tiny Tupperware bowl and it fit perfectly. Good luck, and concentrate on dry spots, cuz your skin is gonna feel amazing!

(it might seem thin at first, so pour it into a paper or plastic cup (a disposable one), and let it sit or a while. It'll make a thick, creamy paste. Oh, and after it can sit, it smells GREAT!!!!
